Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Story to Learn ("we") collects through storytolearn.com, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: info@storytolearn.com.

This site is for grown-ups

Our videos are made for children, but this website and its forms are for parents, carers, teachers and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their details, email us and we will delete them.

What we collect

  • Email sign-ups (free guides and our weekly email): your email address, and optionally your first name and whether you're a parent or teacher.
  • Contact and studio forms: your name, email and the details you choose to send us.
  • Technical data: our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security.

We do not use advertising trackers on this site.

How we use it

To send you what you asked for, reply to your messages, deliver studio projects, and send our weekly email if you joined it. We never sell your information.

Services we use

  • Email delivery and forms: trusted providers that store sign-ups and send our emails and form messages on our behalf.
  • YouTube: videos load from YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode only when you press play. After that, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
  • Google Fonts: our typefaces load from Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
  • Hosting: this site is hosted by Hostinger.

Your choices

Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing info@storytolearn.com. If you live in the UK, EU or a US state with privacy rights, you have these rights under your local law, and we will honour them.

Keeping it safe and for how long

We keep sign-up information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and studio project emails for as long as needed to deliver and support the project.
